Monkey Pinata
These are my first birthday party friends helping me bust the monkey pinata. Lily, Skyler, Sophie and I weren't exactly sure what we were suppose to do. Some of the adults broke open the pinata and candy came spilling out everywhere. Even the adults were having fun gathering some sweets. This is when I discovered my first lollipop. Mom let me suck on it for just a bit, but then she took it away. It sure was yummy while it lasted.
Houston came to see me!!!
Thank you Ya Ya, Papa, Ba ba, Uncle Brandon, Aunt Holly, Uncle Dustin and cousin Skyler for making the long trek to come and see me for my first birthday. It was great to see everyone and I had a really good time with all of you. Thanks for being with me on my special day!

Today was Briggs First Birthday. We celebrated at a very old South Texas BBQ restaurant called Joe Cotten's. Daddy had already taken him once and got the behind the scenes tour of all the smokers. Boy did we have a good time. Briggs is definitely a Bretzke and a Hoffman. He eats treats like both of his great grandpa's, he's was born knowing how to EAT. He was gulping down the brisket. Happy 1st Birthday lil monkey. What a wonderful blessing you are! Oh and by the way Joe Cotten's is known for their BBQ, but I think they should be known for their delicious (homemade) icecream. Out of this world, Briggs had the strawberry.
